About me
Hello, I’m Jo – a qualified and insured Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner based in Seafield, West Lothian.
I am a certified practitioner in Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage, with additional qualifications in Swedish and Remedial massage, reflexology, and specialist lymphatic techniques. I am also a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
My work focuses on lymphatic health, fluid imbalance and swelling, post-operative recovery, and scar therapy, supporting clients with conditions such as Lipoedema, Fibromyalgia and chronic pain, fatigue and stress-related conditions as well as those navigating recovery following surgery or medical treatment.
I offer clinically informed treatments including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), alongside complementary aesthetic approaches such as wood therapy, where appropriate.
My approach is always guided by safety, clinical reasoning, and individual need.
With over 25 years’ experience in client care and leadership roles, I bring a calm, compassionate, and professional presence to every session, creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and confident in their care.
Inspiration
Following my Lipoedema diagnosis in 2023, I underwent liposuction and experienced firsthand the importance of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) before and after surgery.
This personal journey deepened my understanding of recovery and inspired a change in direction into the bodywork field, allowing me to support others through lymphatic-focused care, as well as those simply seeking support for their wellbeing.
